General
This is an overview of my self created ARM64 (aarch64) images/boxes that are fully compatible to Vagrant and Apple Silicon chips which makes the live for DevOps easier when running in newer Apple Mac hardware. In the past, many DevOps used Vagrant together with VirtualBox (VBox) in their default setups to quickly spawn new VMs. However, when switching from AMD64 (Intel architecture) to Apple Silicon (M1/M2) there was a lack of unsupported tools which broke many workflows. Now, you can use it with VMware Fusion and Vagrant to keep your workflow. Further information on the free VMware Fusion for Mac can be found here.
