gyptazy.com is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.
This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.
If you want to see trending posts on the official Mastodon mobile app, click the 🔍 magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the app but don't enter anything in the search box. It will show you the trends by default.
- "Posts" is trending posts
- "Hashtags" is trending hashtags
- "News" is trending links, often news but not always
- "For You" is a slightly misleading title, it's suggestions for accounts to follow based on how many follow them on your server

Do you want to hide posts that link to certain websites? You can do this with Mastodon Filters:
1. Create a new filter
2. Add domain names of the sites that you don't want to see links to (e.g. example.com), use new keyword for each domain
3. UN-tick box marked "whole word" for each keyword
4. Save filter

By the way, you don't need a PeerTube account! You can follow and interact with PeerTube from within Mastodon, the videos will show up in your timeline. You only need a PeerTube account if you intend to publish videos or create playlists.
If you're using Mastodon's web interface on a computer, you might like to know there are built-in keyboard shortcuts for almost all its functions. There's a list of all the shortcuts here:

You just press the shortcut key when you're NOT typing a post, and it will do whatever it's assigned to.
