Open-Source Virtualization Gathering in Germany, Mönchengladbach

I’m excited to announce our very first and free Open-Source Virtualization Gathering in Germany (Mönchengladbach), taking place on Thursday, December 11 hosted by the open-source company credativ GmbH.
This new event brings together people who are passionate about open virtualization technologies like Proxmox VE, XCP-ng, bhyve, Harvester, and many others. It is all about sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and connecting with others who build, use, or contribute to open platforms every day.
The evening will start with a few short talks that highlight different technologies and real-world experiences. After that, the floor opens for discussion, questions, and casual networking. Drinks during the first part are on us, and afterward, everyone is welcome to join for dinner and more conversation at the Italian restaurant right downstairs.
Whether you work with virtualization in production, maintain your own lab setup, or simply want to exchange ideas with like-minded people, this is the perfect chance to be part of a growing community around open infrastructure in Germany.
Join us in Mönchengladbach (which is close to the Netherlands and Belgium) and help shape the start of something new in the open source virtualization space.
Talks at the OSS Virtualization Gathering?
We’ll start the evening with two talks where community members share their experiences, lessons learned, and unique perspectives on open source virtualization. You’ll be able to meet the following speakers:

Where & when is the OSS Virtualization Gathering?
The gathering / meetup will be held in the meeting rooms of credativ GmbH. We offer a free on-site parking and our building is fully barrier-free (including dedicated and bigger parking slots) and accessible for everyone. If you need any assistance, please feel free to call on us, we’re happy to help!
The location is easy to reach and it’s right next to the Borussia Park football stadium and just a minute away from the A61 highway. Thanks to its great location in western Germany, it’s also very close to the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, making it an ideal spot for guests traveling from across the region. We’re happy to welcome everyone interested in open source virtualization, no matter where you’re coming from. Depending on who joins, we’ll host the discussions in English or German if all guests are German-speaking.
