And now I don't know if any of it is believable or not. The rest of the site and #blog doesn't look mass produced, and so I'd be inclined to think it's a real person writing about real experiences, but now I don't know.

A lot of people apparently have the ability to quickly spot AI #slop produced articles, but I can't seem to notice the tells. At least I found out in the end?

To be clear, the author hasn't done anything *wrong*, they don't claim it's not written/assisted by AI, so I don't think I can really complain? I guess I just feel a bit disappointed that I thought it would be human communication on a topic of mutual interest, but then it isn't.

Weniger blockierte Requests

Seitdem ich auf Linux und GrapheneOS umgestiegen bin, muss Pi-Hole deutlich weniger DNS-Anfragen blockieren. Die Werte gingen von knapp 15% auf 8% runter. Der Rest stammt von der Windows-Kiste der Liebsten, ihrem Stock-Pixel-Android und dem waipu-TV-Stick (also überwiegend die Apps wie Netflix oder Paramount+).

Das zeigt mir wieder, wie richtig meine Entscheidung war, aber auch, wieviel digitalen Schmutz die Hersteller produzieren, den wir einfach täglich ungefiltert fressen.

I can't believe somebody from baraag.net reported and then unfollowed me for thinking I'm not a real person because I customized my #mastodon instance to have a 1 million character limit per post which you can easily do through a ruby on rails command rather than the default 500 Mastodon gives you.

If I were a spammer, I could very easily turn that rails command into a mass ping on every user that this server knows about. But I won't do that. But just so we're clear, I am not going to appologize for self hosting my #personal #blog. Federated or not.

I pay C$230.00 per month to be able to speak my mind. And if that means I prefer to make a longer post, so be it.

I respect everyone to a fault on this platform, because I know the alternatives are shit. This isn't fucking twitter.

Come on, are you guys cooked because you've consumed too much Reddit which only basically allows for memes as a form of communication these days?

I did not go through 15+ years of primary, middle, secondary and post secondary education to be talked down to by somebody who can't read multiple lines of text. It's not statistically possible that people who are this retarded have preferred to throw mandatory essay writing that I spent over a decade and a half preparing for teachers and professors.

Not to mention, contributing in my spare time to help Wikipedia out on various subject matter involving topics relating to mathematics, science and other necessities for php, html and server side programming languages among other things.

This is even more of a reason why I am against report and cancel culture as a whole.

You guys got to get a life. If you think reading multiple paragraphs of text in your feed is so scary, maybe try consuming content you only find in hashtags and replies in a better more digestable format instead. Because that's all I've ever used to communicate with anyone, and all I ever will use to do so in future.

Not all of you are like this, but I'm not impressed to see my money being received like this. Because I think the platform used for communication on the decentralized web can be drastically improved.

I'm re-starting this thread, bc I'm exhausting my abilities.

Does anyone know why my blog post had an AI tag added to it? I've been told Wordpress Yoast did it, but my AI settings on Yoast are already turned off. I'm told Mastodon has added that feature, but the privacy settings I'm supposed to turn off to eliminate it are already off.

I don't want to quit sharing my blog posts here, but I even less want wrong info attached to them.
