as always, highly depends on your personal needs. I'm a huge Proxmox fan, but there're of course several different cool solutions. Next to , I also often use [0] in personal labs but I'm also a huge fan of with . 's [2] approach is also a great solution (similar to ) if you want to go into the modern world (in the end, they're also using KVM). If it's just single node, I really would also consider on (maybe even via / ).

        @gyptazy @ironicbadger I recently had a first contact with „HPE VM Essentials“, a KVM-based hypervisor with orchestration capabilities inherited from HPE’s acquisition of Morpheus Data. Did look pretty promising if they put some further development in the product.
